20 Jam Menahan Dingin Demi PlayStation 4

Jelajah - Sony akhirnya secara resmi meluncurkan PlayStation (PS) 4 di Amerika Serikat. Ratusan gamer pun rela antre berjam-jam untuk bisa secepat mungkin mendapatkan konsol tersebut.

PS4 sendiri sengaja diluncurkan Sony pada Kamis tengah malam waktu setempat di Hotel Standard High Line, New York. Saat malam cuaca terbilang sangat dingin di kota yang tak pernah 'tidur' ini.

Di peluncuran perdananya Sony sengaja hanya menyediakan 444 unit PS4. Jadi sudah terbayang bukan, seperti apa antrean para calon pembeli konsol tersebut?

Joey Chiu, seorang gamer Brooklyn menjadi orang pembeli pertama yang berhasill mendapatkan PS4. Kepada Cnet dan dikutip detikINET, Sabtu (16/11/2013) ia mengaku sudah antre selama 20 jam di tengah udara yang cukup mengigil.

PS4 sudah mulai dipasarkan di Amerika Utara dengan harga USD 399, lebih murah USD 100 dibanding Xbox One yang peluncurannya akan segera menyusul. Sony sendiri mengaku sudah menyiapkan sejumlah game papan atas yang bisa dimainkan pada PS4.

PS4 dijadwalkan bakal dirilis bertahap ke sejumlah negara di Eropa dan Asia selama beberapa bulan ke depan hingga awal 2014.
